The latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County called “Happily Never After” is the best way to describe the uncomfortableness that ensued.

Whether its viewers watching the unbearably extravagant Bellino Twins 4th Birthday Party (also known as the Princess and Puppy Party) thrown by Alexis, or Vicki trying to talk to her daughter Briana about their “similar relationships” nothing was fairytale-like.

Tornado Teresa Rages On

It may be the first week of summer in Jersey, but the first day of the sunny season didn’t bring any light to any of the Housewives. Last week’s Summer Solstice Party is the topic of conversation between all the couples in the opening shots of tonight’s episode.

Caroline hit the nail on the head with the problem between Melissa and Teresa, “[Melissa's] a better, younger version of [Teresa] and that’s [Teresa's] problem.” Other highlights from Caroline’s interview included her thoughts that Teresa wouldn’t be happy until divorce papers are served between Melissa and Joe, which she calls Teresa’s “level of INSANITY.” (Ain’t that the truth!)

Premier of Real Housewives Orange County Season 7 Proves A New Start for New Rivalries

In Orange County, not much as changed. The sun still shines, the ladies are still blonde and Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney are friends.

No, that wasn’t a typo. This season, frenemies Gretchen and Tamra are turning over a new leaf in their relationship and putting the negativity behind them. It seems like a lost cause, but for the premier episode of Season 7, it seemed cute.

Part Two Brings Glanville’s Angry Spice Side Out to Play against the RHOBH

In the midst of the conversation, part two of the Beverly Hills reunion picked up right where Brandi Glanville left off.

Her entrance into the group wasn’t the easiest. (Cue scenes from the charity event, Adrienne Maloof’s BBQ, Game Night, etc.) Yet the newbie was able to hold her ground with the ladies and even win some over. Her biggest regret comes from the Hawaii trip, when Brandi took Xanax to endure the plane ride. (Oh what a trip it was!)

The season sure had its moments of “Did she say that!?” And Andy Cohen used a note in James Lipton‘s book asking the ladies to say their favorite curse words after divulging that Adrienne and Camille Grammer cursed the least and Brandi cursed the most. You would expect the one, who curses the most, to say “labia” to describe the difference between sexy and slutty.

Where do I start? It seemed that anything that could go wrong, did. Awkwardness, check. Surprises, check. Bad news, check. That’s what the “Night of a Thousand Surprises” brought for the Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The main focus was the launch party of Lisa Vanderpump’s newest restaurant, SUR. While all of the ladies were in attendance to the private party via stretch limousines, someone from Lisa’s past came unexpectedly. Kyle Richards was in completely shock when she noticed Cedric, Lisa’s ex-houseguest, arrive at the party. Cedric greeted the ladies as if nothing had ever happened, but I think he was expecting a hug and a bag full of money from Lisa and Ken, surprise! Lisa didn’t want anything to do with him. After exchanging a few words, Ken stepped in and the power couple told Cedric to visit the nearest exit.

When the Beverly Hills ladies decided to go on the Hawaii getaway for Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio’s birthday, I don’t think they had it in mind that they’d be spending most of the time waiting on others, especially Kim Richards and her shadow Ken. After the debacle with the Armstrong’s at the White Party, it seemed that the drama would be hundreds of miles away, but Kim was sure to pack all the craziness she owns to the island of Lanai.
